Recent data released by The NC Association of Realtors details a positive real estate picture for two regions in North Carolina.
Brunswick County and New Hanover County bucked the state averages with New Hanover county posting a 3 percent increase over June 2010, while statewide averages for the same period declined by 11 percent.
Additionally, Brunswick County demonstrated some strong real estate growth with June registering the highest total dollar sales month for 2011. The total dollar sales rose by 9 percent for the first half of the 2011 compared to 2010.
Finally, average prices rose by 7 percent for the area served by the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors–New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick counties–sales rose by 3% in June compared with a year earlier, while average price increased by 1 percent and the dollar volume of homes sold increased by 4 percent.
Details from many local developments, which typically don’t report sales data to area Realtor associations demonstrate some strong growth for top master-planned communities.
